The KCC aims to develop into a diversified educational Centre offering a wide variety of educational programs targeting to serve the general educational needs around the acquiring of general knowledge, including but not limited to, basic Elementary Education for the inhabitants of Kormakitis village, programs on the history and culture of Cyprus, languages, and tradition, nature preservation and recycling, agricultural development, under:
- Elementary Level education
- Lectures & Workshops
- Language Learning Centre
- Conferences & Seminars
- Programs for ICT and modern communication technologies
- Research delegations hosting and facilitation
- Creation and hosting of historical archives and library
CULTURAL CENTRE
KCC will organize or host cultural events from all over Cyprus and beyond, promoting the multiculturalism of the island and providing the opportunity
for young artists and talented people to present their skills and passion towards culture and art.
Sample cultural events and activities can include:
- Exhibitions and displays of artwork
- Concerts & musical events
- Traditional & Folklore events
- Themed festivals
Hospitality
The center will be fully equipped to host up to 60 visitors offering basic, hostel level accommodation facilities and catering. Focus is mainly on Young Generations looking to meet, engage, share, and experiences in a unique, modern, inviting environment and facilities.
KCC visitors’ profiles include:
- NGO's and organised groups visiting the rich nature and landscape of Kormakitis peninsular
- Delegations for conferences, workshops and meetings
- Summer Camps
- International delegations from EU
- Visitor groups who would like to spend some
time in Kormakitis, mixing with the locals.
- Volunteers for community works
